I talk to you later

You just have to love Danica! She has been down in Delta for the week so I haven't really talked to her or seen her for a week. Could she care? Not much. I called to talk to her today (she has been gone for 6 days) and she talks to me for about 3 minutes then says "I talk to you later." And this comes from the girl that will talk on the phone to grandparents for an hour. I guess she is just making the most of her time with Danny's family, and figures she can talk to me any old day.

What to do...

Well, I nshipping Danica off to Delta today with Danny's parents. She will be gone for a week. I will miss her, but it is good to have some time to get things done. And all I can keep thinking is if that is enough time to do everything I am trying to work on right now. We shall see! :)

Haidyn...

Poor little Haidyn's acid reflux is back at it. We have had to put her back on the medication and we are having to thicken her formula with cereal. Her formula already comes with rice starch in it and now I am having to add more cereal to her bottles. The kid already weighs in at a little over 16 lbs at 5 months and this is just going to help that along. If her reflux doesn't get better we have to take her in for some reflux test where they have her drink a certain formula then x-ray her to see if she is aspirating any of it, which can seem like she has asthma. We are hoping that it is just the acid reflux causing her couple of symptoms of asthma, since it is known to do that. But if not, then we have both kids dealing with that. I just hope that they are both able to grow out of all of this and live normal lives at some point.

Danica's Haircut

I took Danica to get her hair chopped off! She loves it! And I love that it still looks good even when she won't let me brush it!
I had some fun with this picture though! HeHe! I sent it to some of mine and Danny's family and said guess who. More votes came back me; maybe I'll have to try something like it.

One of the funniest Wii games

Danny's sister Kaity was staying with us for a few days and Danny's brother Devin came over for a bit. They went and got the funniest Wii game, sorry I don't know the name of it. It has the ugliest little bunnies as the charaters and they have some weird games on it. One of the games was that they couldn't get caught talking on their cells in the movie theater and this game. But then I think half of what makes these game so funny is Danny and his brother and sister; they are seriously nuts! Gotta love 'em!

Another trip to the Zoo

We made another trip to the zoo last week. Danica ran through the entire zoo so fast. She just kept hurrying to the next animal.
The leopard kept stalking the window. It was scaring Danica so that she wouldn't turn her back to the window, but she couldn't get enough of it.

Danica wanted to make sure Haidyn got a chance to sit on the big kitties too.

We just have a lot of fun looking looking at all of the animals and riding the train!

Danica's Surgery

Danica's surgery went really well. She was pretty mean coming out of anestesia, but recovered quick. She was completely back to herself within about 4 hours. She didn't even take an extra nap or anything, but then what did I expect; it's Danica. She didn't pass the hearing test before the surgery so she has to go back in a couple of weeks to have it checked again. Hopefully she is fine; we don't need to have any other complications with her right now.
She has a fun playing with everything and the other kids waiting for surgery too.

The only thing we could get her to eat was slushes for a couple of hours. She called it her medicine.

The surgery definitely helped her asthma and how much she gets sick. The only improvement I haven't noticed is her hearing, but it can't be too bad. We will just have to wait and see.
